Thames

Since returning to London and settling near the River Thames, I have become increasingly fascinated by the rhythms of the river, its docks, and the waterways of the London Basin. The continual ebb and flow of the tides exerts a strong pull on my me and influences both the shape and content of my work.

This has led to an ongoing body of work that reflects on the historical and contemporary impact of trade, migration, and human movement through the London Basin. I am currently working on a book-work that relates to the brackish water from Teddington to Southend.
